Estate Sales Service by Antiques & Collectibles, are conducted to sell an estate of personal property such as furniture, china, antiques, books, pictures, collectibles, vehicles, motor homes, boats, etc. We appraise at a fair market and value price of items to be sold. Each item is given a department or room number that it is in and priced.

Consulting with homeowner, family or executors prior to sale:
The client and Estate Sales Service will determine sale price on items. Often clients and ESS will agree on and idea as to what amount to price items. We try to honor that request and ask you for a lower price from which we can negotiate. Estate Sale Service will try and get best price, but we do need room to negotiate. In an estate sale we have prices on all the items. Since, our fee is based on the total sale; it is to our advantage to sell your items at the highest possible price.

Research and Setting Prices:
Estate Sales Service by Antiques & Collectibles, are conducted to sell personal property-furniture, china, antiques, books, pictures, collectibles, etc. We appraise and take an inventory of every major item that is to be sold. Each item is given a department number and priced.

Sorting and Organizing Merchandise:
We will organize the sale so that related items are together in the same area. Items are merchandised in an effort to create sales and salespeople are stationed throughout for sales effort and for security.


Advertising the sale:
Estate Sale Service will advertise the sale in at one or two local newspapers. Notify by email, mail and telephone of scheduled estate sale. Provide and post signs.

Conducting the sale:
Sales are usually conducted Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. We accepted major credit cards and cash is best.

Post-sale Clean-up:


We will leave your property after the sale and all items are removed and the house is broom clean. Our service is often requested by real estate agents or clients because we prepare the house for sale. Agents also like estate sales because more people will see the house during the estate sale than any other time that the house is for sale. Often the house is sold during the estate sale. If an item does not sell we offer several options for your consideration. Estate Sale Service by Antiques & Collectibles can place remaining items on consignment at store location, some items maybe donated to agreed charity. We do very little without your knowledge and viewpoint.

Fees:
Our fee is a percentage of the total sale 30% to 45% percent is our fee. It depends on how much detail is required before the sale. Clean up of the house, yard maintenance; clean up after the sale, and condition of items.

More information:
Sometimes it is hard to just get organized. Individual or seniors who would like help to move to a smaller location, perhaps a retirement center, but need to sort it all out, box it up, sell what you don't need, and send your kids and other family members the things they want is almost too much.

Before the move our interior decorator helps by making a detailed plan for your new home, and the decorator and you select how your treasures will be arranged and placed in your new home.

We do offer other services such as helping individuals and many seniors with services for those who are downsizing. We help you pack those things you want to keep, and arrange for the move, we help you unpack, we have an interior decorator who helps you select those things you want to take and how to arrange your new home so everything fits, we do all the little things of moving for you. What do these extra services cost? Some fees are included in the estate sale, but others are depending on what needs to be done to make your move a pleasant experience and no stress.

When do you get paid?
 You receive your money in 3 to 4 days after the sale by Check.
